This ferritic stainless steel grade is magnetic and offers moderate corrosion resistance, as well as good oxidation resistance up to 815°C. It has a tensile strength ranging from 450–600 MPa, a yield strength of around 205 MPa, and a hardness close to 183 HB. The material is highly resistant to nitric acid and organic substances, while also providing good ductility, machinability, and thermal conductivity—making it a practical and cost-effective choice for various industrial applications.
